Akaroa is simply an amazing, beautiful place where wilderness meets a historical French settlement.  A great place to relax, unwind and enjoy life.

We come to visit and  were only here for only 1 day before we knew it was the place we wanted to live!!!

We believe we have the best of just about everything NZ has to offer - friendly people; incredible bird life; a lovely quaint village; an abundance of sea life; excellent walking tracks; great sightseeing activities; a world class cooking school and the Giant House which has been recognised as a "garden of international significance", only a 2 minutes down the road!
 

We couldn't ask for anything better and we say that after living in Nelson for 16 years, which is also another beautiful part of NZ!!
